Mokko

Five seconds to remember
your good posture.

  1. Start from your usual seat

Face the camera with your head and both shoulders visible. Hold your upright posture for five seconds to save it.

  2. A little nudge when it changes

Mokko reminds you when changes, such as a lower head or shoulders, persist. Choose the alert percentage and delay to suit you.

  3. Return, and carry on

Step away when you need to. When the target is clearly back for about a second, monitoring resumes with your saved posture.

A few things to know

Does the camera record me?

No. Video is processed only on your Mac while checking your posture. No photos or video files are saved.

Is my data sent to a server?

Camera video and posture data are never sent to a server. Detection works offline on your Mac. The app uses the internet to check for releases and minimum supported versions, and to download updates.

What is stored on my Mac?

Your posture baseline measurements, camera identifier, save date, reminder settings and the last 24 hours of per-minute posture states stay on this Mac. No video or photos are saved.

Is the camera always on?

The camera is used while monitoring. Closing the window keeps monitoring running. Choose Stop or Quit in the app or menu bar to turn off the camera.

What if more than one person is visible?

Choose one person to monitor. When people overlap and the target is unclear, posture decisions pause. Monitoring resumes once the target is clear. Spatial tracking does not verify identity.

Is this a posture correction or medical app?

Mokko is a wellness reminder that compares your posture with a baseline you save. It does not measure exact neck angles or diagnose, prevent or treat a condition.

What posture changes trigger a reminder?

Mokko compares head and shoulder positions, heights and head tilt with the good posture you save. A turtle reminder appears when changes exceed your chosen percentage for the time you set. Adjust the threshold and delay for sustained changes while you work or study.

Is there a Windows version?

The current download requires macOS 14 or later and supports Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. A Windows version is coming soon.
